Simon Rawlings

Born in Somerset, Simon's interest in music was encouraged by an excellent music teacher. But, now regards himself as "Just an enthusiastic listener" enjoying a wide range of music.

Simon spent over thirty five years as a professional driver trainer, most of which, involved advanced and 'blue light' training. In 2014 he was made a Fellow of the Association of Industrial Road Safety Officers and has produced an online road safety booklet.

A few voluntary positions held, such as, County Staff Officer (Driving) St John Ambulance and Vice-Chairman at a community centre.

Now retired, he assists the local music society, looking after and operating sound equipment, publicity and giving presentations occasionally. Simon enjoys restoring Hi-Fi equipment and still maintains his collection of vinyl.
