Born in Hammersmith and raised in Willesden, Pinner and Buckinghamshire,
David grew up in a household often full of music, of the recorded variety,
as both parents were lovers of classical music. His father, Arthur, was
a radio and TVengineer, so a radiogram and television were always in use.
David took piano and viola lessons as a child.
He now runs
a successful community transport scheme, a registered charity which employs
over eighty volunteer drivers and five wheelchair-accessible minibuses
to take clients where they need to go.
