John Futter was born and raised in Belper, Derbyshire. Following university I became an analytical chemist and founded my own laboratory in 1991. My interest in classical music started at school and became a life-long passion, resulting in a very large collection of LPs and CDs.
I have been a member of a number of societies and am currently treasurer of Olton Recorded Music Society.
